The course combines 8 lessons of General English per calendar month. Learn English with our highly qualified teachers. A better command of English means a better job!


Tips to improve your English

- Ask questions if you are not sure or do not understand.
- Talk to others  in English as much as possible in ESOL classes and at break-time. This will help to improve your listening and speaking. 
- If you miss a class ask another girl what you missed and try and do the work. 
- Do all your ESOL homework. 
- Read a little everyday - especially from the ESOL readers’ library.

ESOL examinations

ESOL classes lead to entry for The University of Cambridge ESOL examinations. These are English Language qualifications recognised by Universities and employers worldwide. For more information please see www.cambridgeesol.org. Students are entered for the appropriate examination by the Head of ESOL when the required level has been reached:
Key English Test (KET)
Preliminary English Test (PET)
First Certificate in English (FCE)
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
